Meet your hosts & teachers
BRIDGET CARNLEY (left) moved to Destin in 1973 from Kentucky and recommitted her life to Jesus soon after. She currently attends Immanuel Anglican Church. Over her fifty years walking with Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit, her faith and walk with Jesus have seen her through the “valleys of the shadow” and brought her joy, peace, and gratitude as she has stood on the mountaintops with him. Her teaching, “Strengthening Your Vertical Relationship with Jesus,” reminds us that our relationship with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit cannot be taken for granted and must be diligently nurtured. Bridget has two children and four grandchildren. After owning and managing several businesses she is now happily retired, attends and shares teaching responsibilities at her Bible study and serves in several capacities at church. She has been the Coordinator for this retreat -- Thank you Bridget!
DALE ALLEN (center) was
born and raised in Destin, Florida. She has been a member of St.
Andrew's/Immanuel Anglican Church her entire life and received Jesus at the age of nine. She has been through many trials in her life and has been a
widow for twenty two years. Dale is the mother of three sons, a grandmother and
a great grandmother. Dale served as Administrative Assistant to three rectors:
Forrest Mobley, Sandy Greene and Mike Hesse and also worked twelve years with
the Marriage Retreat, a ministry of Forrest and Nancy Mobley. In 1970 her life changed when the Holy Spirit was released in her and her normal
Christian life then became an empowered life to serve the Lord to the Glory of God
the Father!
CLAUDIA HESSE (right) is married to The Rev. Mike Hesse. This year, they celebrated 54 years of marriage and many challenging and faith-building years of ministry. She has 40 years of classroom teaching with all ages, toddlers to adults. Profound growth in faith has come through experiencing Jesus and sharing His love with her students, singing in the choir, teaching Bible classes, and serving on various prayer teams at church. The most powerful agent of healing is the work of the Holy Spirit in healing memories, Inner Healing. God’s love constantly assures us that we do not have to live with fear, depression, rejection, negative self-image. Thanks be to God who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
